EVOLUTION OR INNOVATION? BUILDING VALUE WITH EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES

On December 2, 2021, the CBCS hosted a conference into blockchain and other emerging technologies. The conference focussed on how the applicability of these technologies in the financial services and hospitality industries, combined with the regulatory adaptability, can create a more vibrant economy.

OUR SPEAKERS

Olivier Rikken: Olivier is Partner and Founder of Emerging Horizons, a boutique consultancy firm that provides various services to help companies of all sizes to be prepared for upcoming technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data. He is a keynote speaker on blockchain and especially Smart Contracts, advises various blockchain startups and is very actively involved in the Dutch Blockchain Coalition.

Rik Willard: Rik is Founder and Managing Director of Agentic, a leading Blockchain thought leadership firm. He has keynoted events by the Harvard Business School, Cornell University, the Kaufmann Institute at Stern/NYU, The Asian Leadership Conference (S. Kore), World Web Forum (Switzerland), Katapult Future Fest (Norway), Emerging Links (Brazil) and numerous other institutions, events and forums in the US, EU, AIPAC and LATAM.

Errol Cova: Errol is Head of the Expert Supervision Department: Governance, Compliance, and Conduct Supervision and Chair of the Innovation Platform of the CBCS. Mr. Cova has over 20 years of experience in the financial services/supervisory sector, including assisting with the Mutual Evaluation of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force and the peer review on the Global Forum of Transparency and Exchange of Information of the OECD.
