No, the Innovation Office aims to help market parties quickly and to provide answers to questions. The communication is therefore informal. For formal positions, we can refer you to the formal channels for institutions already under supervision, our market access department and/or your current supervisor.

We analyse your business model and advise you on how it may fit into the existing regulatory framework. We explain and clarify questions on specific laws, regulations and policies you may have. We accompany you in connecting with the appropriate regulatory department within the CBCS to obtain your license, exemption or registry if required.

No, we do not share information from and about a specific requesting party. We may communicate about the interpretation of legislation and regulations. We can update this based on experiences in the Innovation Office. When we publish information on an aggregated basis about the number and type of questions received via the Innovation Office, this information can never be traced back to a specific question, institution or person.
