Bank transaction fees in Sint Maarten compared to the region and the Netherlands
WILLEMSTAD/PHILIPSBURG – The average bank administration fees in Sint Maarten are broadly in line with countries in the region although in certain instances the fees do rank among the highest. A comparative analysis of bank transaction fees in Sint Maarten, conducted by the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS), examined the fee structures in Sint Maarten in relation to various countries within the region and the Netherlands. All six commercial banks in Sint Maarten collaborated in providing data for this research. The participating countries include Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Jamaica, Curaçao, and Trinidad & Tobago.
